Many new players ask questions about BackGround Simulation (BGS) and what to do to help when participating in a minor player faction.
The following is a list of actions that Terra-EX Astro Corp (TEAC) faction planner CMDR Pastoral have put together and pinned at our discord channel #faction_news at discord.d2ea.com.

About TEAC
Terra-EX Astro Corp is the Player minor faction that Down To Earth Astronomy started in a livestream event on the 27. of april 2018.
Trade
This means trading in a TEAC controlled port by selling commodities to that port and making a profit for yourself.
Bounties
You can earn bounties by killing NPCs in any TEAC controlled system where you do this in the system is depending on your combat ability. A Resource Extraction Site is an example. These can be low, medium, high or Hazardous. You should not be afraid to do this as if you are a inexperienced/noob - just go into a high res site follow the police around and let them shoot first at an NPC. When that NPC is getting close to 0% all you need to do is tag it by shooting at it until it indicates red and once destroyed you get the bounty.
