7 Days To Die War of the Walkers Client Mod guide

This is focused on Alpha 21.1 - use the apropriate version in the future ;-)

Install 7D2D like any other Steam game.
Click the settings "cog-wheel" on the right after game is installed and select Properties.
Select "Betas" on the left menu.
Select "alpha21.1 - Alpha 21.1 Stable" in the dropdown box.
Close the Properties windows on the X top right. Game should start downloading the 21.1 release-
Download the latest release 7D2DModLauncherV5 https://github.com/The7D2DModLauncher/7D2DModLauncherV5/releases
Install the 7D2DModLauncherV5 - accept the blue warning that author is unknown and bla bla blah ;-)
Launch the Launcher...
Click "Install New Mod" button
Select "War of the Walkers v21.x.x.x Stable" in the list
Click "Install" button.
After the mod is installed you should see it in the list on the right - It is probably the only mod on the list...
Make sure the correct game copy is selected (Alpha 21.1)
Make sure to select the apropriate Mod version - ASK the server Admin about this! My server runs V21.1.2.4 released 11/18/2023 ;-)
Click the "Download this version" button.
Click the "Pre-Sync" button left of the green Play button.
Click the "Play" button and watch the game launch...
